"Every year when it comes time to order…"
Every year when it comes time to order my contacts, I am still amazed when a REAL person answers the phone. Not only that but they are so friendly and will accommodate any situation needed.
This year I ordered my contacts and then asked that they not be send right away because I was going to be in the hospital for 2 days getting my neck fused and didn't want the contacts to be delivered and freeze at my front door where UPS leaves them. No Problem. But then the customer care person, who feels like a friend already, asks when and what time the surgery is and says she will put it on her calendar and that I can add her to the list of loved ones who will be sending me good prayers and love during the operation. I hung up feeling great!
The day of my 5 - 1/2 hour surgery I actually thought to all the people who were rooting for me and thought about the complete stranger from 1800 contacts who would be praying for me.
Two weeks after my surgery I get a get well soon card from Lyndi Reed from 1800 Contacts saying that she is thinking of me with "Lots of prayer & good wishes coming my way!" and she is hoping I'm feeling better and on the road to a great recovery.
Well I'm speechless - this is way beyond some corporate policy - this is real and I feel it!
Thank you Lyndi Reed, you made me feel appreciation and love for all the good people in the world like you. There is hope.

"seamless customer service experience"
i had a seamless phone call experience with tracy from customer service. she had no problems speedily looking up my account and pinpointing exactly where my contacts were in the shipping process. even refunded me the extra shipping cost when i asked without any fuss. happy to be a new customer!

"Awesome customer service & $"
1 800 contacts not only price matched the lowest price I found for my contact lenses, they expedited the delivery because I was out of contacts and I got them in 24hrs from the time I placed my order !! The lenses are great quality and their customer service is phenomenal. I got disconnected and had to call back. I was ready to start all over but the previous agent took great notes and everything we talked about was available for this agent to see so within 1 minute I was right where I left off when my cell dropped the call. Highly recommend them. If it's been a while, try again you will be pleasantly suprised!!

"After the technical problems, order processing was efficient."
Back in Feb 2020, I tried to use the FREE eye exam on the website. It didn't work the three times I tried it. It couldn't record my answers well even though I was in a quiet room. I had to get my contact prescription from my doc.
Having my prescription, I wanted to get a price match so I chatted with them online. My chat session was going well and my sale almost finalized when it dropped. Then, it kept dropping the next 4 times. After some time, I contacted them again. They still had most of my info except the price matching. I'm unsure if they called my doc to confirm prescription. The agent was able to price match again and the sale finalized.
I selected UPS Ground (standard) to ship my contacts. Initial estimates were for 11 days. I received it in 2 days; just like it stated in my initial shipping email. North Carolina to NYC.

"Best customer service experience EVER"
There was a mix up with my prescription when ordering my contacts. I had originally given them an old prescription, and later corrected it, but my order came in with the original wrong one. I called customer service and within FOUR MINUTES (entirety of my call with hold time) my issue was resolved and new contacts were rush ordered to me, free of charge. It has been a long time since the person who picked up the phone for any customer service issue with any company was able to resolve my issue without transferring me, and so pleasantly! They definitely left a good impression on me. Everyone messes up, but good customer service makes a company! I have even included the screenshot to prove this was a four minute fix.
